About Southern Excursion
The Blue Mountains Calling. While the north freezes, the south comes alive. The Southern Excursion is an 8-night, 9-day celebration of the Western Ghats, a UNESCO World Heritage biodiversity hotspot. Running from December 12th to 20th, this tour offers the perfect winter escape—warm sun, cool mountain mist, and pristine tarmac.
You will navigate the legendary hairpin bends of the Nilgiris, ride through endless carpets of tea and coffee plantations, and cruise through dense wildlife sanctuaries where wild elephants roam free. This is a sensory overload: the scent of eucalyptus and spices in the air, the taste of authentic coastal cuisine, and the thrill of some of India’s most technical curves.
